Welcome to Adam Rodger who is the new proprietor of our local chemist in Beachmere. He also owns the AMCAL Chemist in Caboolture and felt that he could improve the local experience in Beachmere by providing the right range of medications and products at the right price.
Adam is currently sorting stock and updating software and means to increase the supply of medications kept on the premises to ensure there is a full pharmacy range to the benefit of his customers. There will be a small gift section but more focus will be on pharmaceuticals, medical products and ensuring customers get the right health outcomes.
The store will be renamed Beachmere Discount Drug Store and will have a grand opening in September. It will be a big event with specials and promotional materials to showcase the new shop fit out. Adam has kept the Pharmacy Assistants on staff and states his focus will be on confidentiality, customer service with a smile, competitively priced retail goods and script medications.
The new pharmacy is able to provide Blood Pressure Checks, and a Sleep Apnoea service will be implemented in the future. Both Adam and Christopher Caris (CJ) are qualified to give vaccinations but will liaise with the local GP’s.
Their opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and 8.30a to 1pm on Saturday, so please come in and support their new venture.
