ARTS & CRAFT FESTIVAL … Christmas Gifts

Are you starting to think about Christmas looming up soon.

Here is an opportunity to buy some unique gifts for family and friends.

Many talented and skilled Arts and Crafts people on Bribie will be displaying and selling their creations at the annual U3A Festival.

On SATURDAY 26th OCTOBER many stalls will display a huge range of works for sale at bargain prices.

The Art & Craft Festival will be  held at U3A Centre in the main RECREATION HALL  on First Avenue,  and will open at 9am and finish at noon.

This is a once a year opportunity to see and buy some of their remarkable creative work.

Representing over 30 different Arts & Craft classes, this annual Market Day on Saturday 26th October offers a wide range of hand-made item to both the Members and the general public.

Some of the many items include

Handicraft, Painting, Bonsai, Drawing, Photography, Acrylic, Sewing, Gift cards, Thread cards, Crochet, Prints, Mixed Media, Pottery, Needlework, Scrapbooking, Paper craft and  Silk Painting.

This special Market Day is a wonderful opportunity to buy unique Christmas gifts where makers are basically charging the cost of materials, not the hundreds of hours of skill involved in making them. In addition to stalls and displays there will subject Tutors showing what they do, with an opportunity to view the U3A facilities and hear about the many classes on offer next year. Morning tea will be available.
