Dogs by far are humans’ best friend, and Chocco was everyone’s friend he was often known as uncle Chocco. He was so wonderful to foster dogs who were timid and untrained. He looked after them like they were his brother or sister.
Some of you may remember him in the mornings along the waterfront Bongaree passage. You may have met him down at the dog beach’s also and you may have seen him chasing toad fish. He loved Bribie Island and the water.
Chocco you left a paw print on our hearts and what we have once enjoyed we can never lose. Our time with you was the absolute best time of our lives and you were there for all of us through our toughest times.
To call Chocco a dog hardly seems to do him justice, though inasmuch as he had four legs, a tail, and barked, I admit he was, to all outward appearances. But to those who knew him well, Chocco was a perfect gentleman.
We did not expect to lose you so quickly from an extremely aggressive cancer behind the eye and our lives will never be the same without you. Rest in Peace our beautiful soul, forever in our hearts.
