Radio sailing wrap up for September

Dragon Force Model 65 (DF65) Racing

A very mixed bag for the month, as far as sailing conditions go. Wind speed ranged from quite strong through to very mild. The weed throughout the lake remains problematic and will need to be addressed if the situation gets any worse. This may mean sailors and their yachts will have to temporarily relocate to an alternate venue.

We sail on both Thursday and Sunday afternoons at 1pm. Thursday is a social sail day, with boats being tuned for the Scratch/Handicap racing on Sunday.

Those interested are cordially invited to come along on either day. The venue is the large over-water pavilion at the northern end of Sandstone Lake (subject to weed conditions).
